About the Role

Nabr is seeking an On-Site Sales Manager. In this role, you will act as Nabr's "boots on the ground" in San Jose as we launch our first building, SoFA One. You will be our primary customer-facing representative, and guide our first customers through a concierge-style customization and purchase experience, to complement Nabr's virtual showroom. You will help concept and execute the concierge experience, including a physical sales office that you will run. In addition, you will support Nabr's Head of Property Marketing and collaborate on broader marketing initiatives to achieve Nabr's growth objectives. We are looking for a doer who is energized by wearing many hats in a dynamic startup environment. You are expected to be a champion for the brand internally, and to represent the brand to potential collaborators. This position will require the candidate to be located in Silicon Valley or Bay Area and have a deep understanding of the area's local buyer behaviors.

In your first three months you will...

  • Understand and internalize the Nabr mission and vision and translate them into a market specific sales strategy

  • Familiarize yourself with SoFA One,our LEAP offering, and Nabr's self-service digital sales infrastructure

  • Help to develop a concierge-style sales experience for early adopters, to complement our virtual showroom

  • Help concept, execute and manage V1 of a physical sales center

  • Contribute to localized marketing and community outreach strategies

  • Review and advise on the creation and maintenance of CRM, as well as sales collateral, marketing creative, and website

  • Review the transaction process and implement best practices to accelerate conversion and user experience in purchasing their Nabr unit.

  • Participate in the development and execution of a physical Nabr Sales Concept

  • Act as a key stakeholder within Nabr's sales and marketing brain trust

Over time you will..

  • Collaborate with our Product, Development, Interiors, and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfaction

  • Work with other Nabr teams (Digital, Marketing, Finance, Legal) to automate transaction process

  • Actively participate in customer onsites, calls, and any other assistance your team needs in getting deals closed

  • Report on sales metrics and forecast to senior management

  • Use CRM system to maintain excellent records and report on activity and KPI's

  • Help create and manage sales center experience to enhance consumer conversion

  • Work with Marketing team, collaborate on the negotiation, placement, and maintenance of all local sales signage

  • Build and lead a team of sales agents

  • Act as a face of the company to consumers, brand collaborators, and the media

Ideally you will have...

  • Licensed real estate sales person in California

  • At least three years of relevant consumer-facing sales experience in the real estate, hospitality, automotive, or adjacent industries

  • Aptitude for service design and an understanding of new development sales office operations

  • Strong knowledge of the real estate industry, including property management, construction management, transactions, financing, taxes, and compliance.

  • Excellent time management and business correspondence skills

  • Proficiencies in Adobe Creative Suite, Hubspot, Canva, and Sprout Social

  • The ability to represent the brand to external parties, including potential customers, local institutions, and real estate brokers.

  • The ability to accurately research, organize and interpret information, and exhibit sound judgment as it relates to all forms of communication

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Willingness to work in-person at our San Jose offices 3-5 days per week

  • A can do attitude—no task is too big or too small, especially in Nabr's early days

  • Comfort with uncertainty, and a demonstrated ability to adapt to company needs

  • Passion for using technology to improve the built environment, particularly with regard to sustainability and affordability

Bonus points for candidates who have prior experience living, working, or selling to Bay Area consumers, or those who have experience living, working, or selling Scandinavian brands
