DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
PPMM is searching for a Project Manager to work within our Facilities and Real Estate Team. This role will be primarily responsible for managing the project and management and administration of various facility projects as may be assigned.
The preferred candidate will have two years of program and/or project management experience working at a strategic level across multiple departments.
This position will require travel to locations as needed based on projects assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Perform project management and administration of assigned facility projects.
  • Responsible for ensuring that reports are kept up to date as may be required.
  • Manages contracted professional services providers, general contractors, and other vendors, the applicable scope of work.
  • Responsible for creating RFP’s and aid in the preparation of Contracts.
  • Manages service providers to ensure top quality work is being performed in timely manner on properties and following good stewardship of financial resources.
  • Accountable for maintaining basic administrative files and records relevant to grant. Provides reports as required by PPMM leadership.
  • Develops strategies for achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Develops and maintains Project Work Plan including budget and schedule.
  • Serves as Primary Point of Contact between client stakeholders and project team.
  • Provides written and oral reports to PPMM management and client representatives.
  • Ensure that all duties are performed in a manner that promotes team success and reflects PPMM’s mission.
  • Responsible for performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to perform the duties described above. A typical means of acquiring those abilities would be:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration/management, or other related field with related project management coursework, required.
  • Master’s Degree in relevant field or relevant professional certification or accreditation is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Skilled in verbal and written communications with internal and external business partners and employees. Must be able to speak effectively in a public or group setting.
  • Strong influence and negotiation skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Along with the ability to learn other relevant software systems and databases as needed.
  • S/he must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Must be able to travel within and outside organization region as the job dictates.
  • 60-80% travel to sites.
